The art of the Romanesque period in the castle and lion, Spain, in the 11th and 13th centuries, is a small but significant journey through some of the artistic manifestations carried out or received in castle and lion, and to a great extent linked to the paths through which the pilgrims travelled to Compostela in the first three centuries of the second millennium. This art in its most varied expressions reflected, in a plastic way, the ways of life, the beliefs, the knowledge and the behaviours of some Europeans whose main link was the belonging to a common culture.
