The Institue

Founded in 1997, Instituto Inclusartiz is a non-governmental, non-profit cultural organization based in Rio de Janeiro. Our ambition is to promote global contemporary art: an artistic corridor that can interconnect the globe, through the training of artists, curators, academics throughout their careers.

At the head of one of the most prestigious and complete artistic residency programs in the country, Inclusartiz has hosted more than thirty names in the segment, including renowned professionals such as Yuko Hasegawa (Japan), Hans Ulrich Obrist (Switzerland), Amanda Abi Khalil (Lebanon ) Gerda Steiner & Jorg Lenzlinger (Switzerland) and Valeska Soares (Brazil), as well as promising talents such as Maxwell Alexandre (Brazil), Manauara Clandestina (Brazil), Vivian Caccuri (Brazil) and Xadalu Tupã Jekupé (Brazil).

CENTRO CULTURAL INCLUSARTIZ

The Centro Cultural Inclusartiz is located at Praça da Harmonia, in Gamboa, Rio de Janeiro's port area. The cultural and creative center houses a set of initiatives in the areas of art, education and the environment, with a program based on different nuclei: artistic residencies; educational; community; expository; research and publications; sustainability and social engagement.

The imposing mansion, a historic property dating back to 1906, serves as an engine for social development by carrying out actions in favor of the democratization of culture in one of the most outstanding regions of the city of Rio de Janeiro.

PRESIDENT

Reynolds has extensive experience in the Brazilian and international contemporary art scene, being a senior member of the Board of the Institute of Global Affairs of Brazil at King's College in London (School of Global Affairs at King's Brazil Institute, King's College London) and member of the Institute of Counselors -Administrators of Madrid. She is also a patron and member of the boards of institutions such as MoMA (New York), Tate Modern (London), Center Georges Pompidou (Paris), MASP, Pinacoteca de São Paulo, among others.
