Shirin Neshat’s practice is result of a rare combination. Her body of works is a point of contact between distant and dissonant extremes. Shirin’s origin in the now remote pre-revolution Iran and her formation in the centre of America Culture can be in itself a duality. Shirin takes this gaze to every atom of the work that she produces.
