The workshop aims to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and experiences among participants, discuss the practice of art reporting and reflective writing, especially to attract a younger audience, provide the appropriate tools for writing reviews, comments, and essays within a specific context, guide the use of different media platforms in relation to specific topics, provide editing tips, expand the network of journalists in Brazil, put the participants in touch with an international network of art journalists collaborating with C&AL, with the possibility of future publication, and support young art critics in finding other publishing channels beyond C&AL.
Interested individuals should submit their CV and a motivation letter and/or their own text, one page maximum (1000 words), to the email info@contemporaryand.com until July 29. To participate, candidates must have initial journalistic and writing experience in the cultural field with a focus on visual arts. Senior writers with long-term experience will not be accepted.
