ABOUT THE INSTITUTE

Founded in 1997, Instituto Inclusartiz is a non-profit cultural organization based in Rio de Janeiro whose mission is to promote initiatives and alliances between the public and private sectors, promoting dialogue and social integration through culture and education.

The Institute bases all its initiatives on valuing cultural diversity and sustainability, also adhering to the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. We support the process of training artists at various stages of their trajectory, through national and international residencies, development of exhibitions and other artistic experiences, where more than thirty Brazilian and foreign artists and curators have already gone through.

We believe in our artists and in the legacy they leave to society, as multipliers of artistic training, bringing opportunities to young people who do not have access to the art world. We value the inclusion of different races, genders, cultures and sexual orientations. Including means valuing, apprehending and respecting these differences.
