NAVARRA: A FUTURE AMONG EVERYONE

Group Show

Baluarte Auditorium and Congress Centre of Navarra. Navarra, Spain

Produced by Government of Navarra, Sodena Public Society and Instituto Inclusartiz/ Fundação Arte Viva

30 September 2006 – 7 January 2007

‘Navarra: A Future Among Everyone’ exhibition is the motto of the eminently audio-visual and interactive show. The purpose of the exhibition is to present how the Navarra of the future is built and, for that, it is provided with the keys of the most modern, avant-garde museology: media such as audio and video, image and interactivity are keys to allow the visitors to build their history. Curated by Víctor Manuel Arbeloa and with the artistic direction of Juan Carlos Díaz Vázquez, the creation of the content had the participation of more than 12,000 Navarro’s inhabitants and almost 200 associations, companies and entities. Likewise, most of the materials of the exhibition were produced by companies and professionals of the Foral Community. In addition to that, the exhibition had an extensive educational and informative program. Daily guided visits were offered for the general audience, as well as activities and workshops for specific groups, families, teachers and schools – students from 6 to 18 years old – to teach the children how to work as a team and respect other people’s opinions regardless of their origin, religion or social status.
